Trusted Doc: Read & Verify documents on blockchain


Trusted Document gives you the power to access and verify documents - contracts, credentials, and other high-value documents - that are fully secured in the Unified Enterprise DLT, a permissioned blockchain.

Files can be downloaded from the blockchain network and decrypted & read on your device to provide easy access. At the same time, the validity of a document and source of the document (provenance) can be verified as well:
• Title and blockchain address of a document
• Timestamp of publication date
• Publisher details to prove provenance
• Document validity date

Do you need a login? Not for public documents. When companies publish product terms or special offers, you can download the app and view a document from the list of published documents.

When do I need a login? For private documents. Contracts and high-value documents specific to you or that you own require a login. You can register and set up your own unique blockchain identity. Publishers can then link documents to you through the app if they so desire.


How it works:
• To download and read the documents:
• Open the TDM application and select the type of document you will access. Public documents are available for everybody (e.g. General Terms and Conditions, Table of fees & commission) , Private documents are dedicated for you only ( e.g. Agreements, Certificates, Loans etc)
• To view Public documents choses the Publisher or select a document from the list.
• Click on the document file to see details. To download, view or share, choose the appropriate button.
• To view Private documents choose the access method: Through description code or Login.
· Access through description code: use the code issued to you by a Publishing institution together with a document blockchain address
· Access through Login: Sign up to the mobile app and set up your password. Once you register your blockchain identity you will see all documents available for you issued by any publishing institution.

To verify a document authenticity:
• On the landing page, select Document Verification .
• Select a file from your device and upload the file
• Choose Verify Document on the bottom of the page
• The application will verify if this document has been unaltered:
· A positive verification means the document and metadata is authentic.
· A negative verification means that either the document was never published to blockchain, or the document has been altered.

Requirement
• For real time data viewing, internet connection must be available.
